Data deletion
Last updated 26 October 2026
You can remove the data DealerPal holds about your connected Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube accounts at any time, and you can ask us to delete your DealerPal account entirely.
Disconnect a social account in DealerPal
- Sign in to DealerPal and open Settings → Integrations.
- Choose the connected account and select Disconnect.
Disconnecting deletes the account's access tokens straight away and cancels any scheduled posts for it. Posts already published stay on the platform until you delete them there.
Remove access from Facebook or Instagram
- In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
- Find DealerPal and select Remove.
When you remove DealerPal, Meta notifies us and we delete the tokens and account details we received from Meta.
Remove access from TikTok
- In TikTok, open Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services permissions.
- Find DealerPal and select Remove access.
Remove access from YouTube
- Open your Google account permissions.
- Find DealerPal and select Remove access.
Delete everything
Email info@dealerpal.co.uk from the address on your DealerPal account and ask us to delete your data. We confirm the request, then delete your connected account data, generated content and records of published posts within 30 days. Data we must keep by law, such as financial records, is retained only for the required period and then deleted.
